Information about 211 Broward's 24-hour comprehensive helpline will be provided. The helpline connects people to community resources for health and human services.

There will be two story times throughout the day from Gold Sponsor Baptist Health. Mother and daughter authors Anabelle and Krystal Wallick will read their book My Feelings are a Hurricane. They will give away a limited amount of the book. After the story times, Manuela Rodriguez, a Baptist Health Behavioral Health Specialist, will interact briefly with caregivers.

Students in grades 6-12 will perform musical theater songs from Broadway shows with the Broward Center Spotlights vocal ensemble. Solos and small groups will perform along with group numbers.

The Broward County Libraries will provide information about their resources, services, and upcoming programs.

Children can ask the Broward County Sheriff's Office's bomb squad and SWAT team about their units and equipment. The K-9 bloodhound will be joining his fellow officers.

Interested families can learn about Broward County WIC's services, how to apply, eligibility requirements, and get referrals. Pamphlets on breastfeeding and nutrition will also be provided.

A little something for everyone is offered by Platinum Sponsor Broward Health. Children can spin their prize wheel and answer a health-related question to win a hat, sunglasses, or other cool prize. After they finish with the wheel, they can try another interactive game or get a health coloring book and crayon set. Caregivers can learn about Broward Health Resources such as their type 1 diabetes camp for kids, Camp Coral Kids.

Broward Healthy Start Coalition will showcase their prenatal education program that links pregnant women to Broward County resources.

Hispanic Unity of Florida will provide information about their 12 programs and more than 30 services they offer to the community. The OIC of South Florida will present information about their Teen Pregnancy Prevention program and help attendees sign up. The program aims to prevent youth pregnancy and STDs and HIV/AIDS. In addition to understanding the risks of unprotected sex, attendees walk away with solid decision-making skills that promote post-secondary education.

Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz's office will have a table to distribute information about health and wellness for children. There's a letter in the program booklet from the congresswoman, who has supported the event for years.

The Sickle Cell Disease Association of Broward County will provide information to increase community awareness of the disease and the Sickle Cell trait.
