A Day for Children 2026

Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital A Day for Children is Nova Southeastern University’s annual health literacy event. For over 21 years,more than 100,000 residents have attended A Day for Children to obtain, process, and understand basic medical information that will help them makeinformed health decisions for their children and families.

The event showcases free and low-cost health and wellness services for children from birth to 16 years of age. Health care education and activities for vision, medical, speech, behavior, and dental health as well as physical and occupational therapy will be provided through NSU Health Centers.

Students and faculty from several of NSU's colleges and centers will provide activities for the children attending this event. Free games, activities, and food will be provided.
